Having spent the best part of the last 5 years working fulltime as a mobile developer for the Windows Mobile platform, I felt Microsoft had the rug pulled from under them.

The iPhone is an exciting platform and seemed to provide the developer with a clear MVC architecture, clear user experience guidelines as well as a global reach to exploit your ideas. I decided it was time to see what iPhone development was really like.
